Drones in forestry
Drones are now creating a digital revolution in forestry.
By using high-resolution cameras, we can map the forest and use GPS to mark the trees that are affected by bark beetles, etc. This allows the forest owner to detect such infestations early and take necessary actions.
We have additional equipment for drones for forest planting, spraying, or fertilising. We are involved in a dedicated forest planting project. A drone can plant up to 10,000 trees in a day. The drone can plant, spray, fertilise, and monitor growth.
We can also provide a high-quality thermal camera to map various types of wildlife in the terrain, visible both day and night.
